Prumix Daily Dated on 2024-12-20Food Additives: On December 19th, dairy giant Frieslandcampina announced plans to merge with Belgian dairy cooperative Milcobel, saying the merger would create a "leading dairy cooperative and dairy company." The combined organization will operate in 30 countries, employ nearly 22,000 people worldwide, process about 10 billion kilograms of milk, and have an estimated annual revenue of more than 14 billion euros. The revenue scale is expected to surpass Arla Foods and jump to around sixth place in the world.
