Copper Sulfate

Copper Sulfate:

Dark blue triclinic crystals or blue crystalline particles or powders. Having an unpleasant metallic odor. Slow weathering in dry air. Relative density 2.284. Above 150~C, it forms white and easily absorbent anhydrous copper sulfate. Decompose the Chemicalbook into copper oxide at 650 ℃. It is easily soluble in water (26.3g/100g, 20 ℃) and is acidic. The pH value of 0.1mol/L aqueous solution is 4.17 (15 ℃). Easily soluble in glycerol, soluble in dilute ethanol, insoluble in anhydrous ethanol.
